Danielle is the Lead Guide for our Primary & Capstone Programs. She is in her 3rd year of teaching at our school and her 3rd year as a teacher. She attended MCSH under the direction of Martha Feldmeier from 1998-2000. From MCSH she moved to Mt. Lebanon Montessori where she fell deeper in love with the philosophy. When it was time to start applying to colleges she took the risk and applied to only one, Xavier University, where Danielle received an AMS Montessori credential as well as an Early Childhood teaching certificate. Danielle resides in Bridgeville and is currently a gymnastics coach at Gymsport. Danielle loves to travel. She enjoys cruising with her favorite country to visit being Antigua.
I enjoy Montessori because of the connections I get to build with my students and their families. I know the families and children and we are able to work together to best educate the child because we have time to develop a strong rapport of trust and understanding while working as a team. The multi-age aspect of Montessori classrooms also provides for a host of benefits to children as they progress through the program and become leaders in their own right. I feel the emphasis on teaching young people to do and think for themselves, and learn to problem-solve independently, are great skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
