About Us
We celebrate each child’s individuality and help them discover how they can best contribute to our world and culture. All children are naturally curious and love to learn; we support this innate drive by providing environments that meet children’s developmental needs, guided by a staff of caring, well-prepared adults and building a community of families that actively support our mission.
Our Mission
Founded in 1991, Montessori Children’s Schoolhouse is a community for children 18 months to 6 years where children, parents, and guides (teachers) feel connected to one another creating a foundation that allows us to support children as they develop into resilient, focused
and empathic adults who are prepared to lead impactful lives.
Our Goal
MCSH's goal has always been to provide a carefully planned, stimulating environment based on the tenants of Dr. Maria Montessori. Our objective is to help children develop within themselves the fundamental habits, attitudes, skills, and ideas which are essential for a lifetime of creative thinking.
